Privacy policy

Overview
Weatherkind is made by Poyzer Tech Limited. The app has no account, advertising, analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. We do not receive or store your location, activity preferences, availability, recommendations, or activity history on our servers.
Information kept on your device
Your selected activities, durations, availability, comfort setting, saved location choice, plans, feedback, notification preferences, cached forecasts, and recommendations are stored locally by iOS. You can remove Weatherkind's saved setup with the Start over control in the app, or remove the app and its data through iOS.
Location and weather
If you choose current location, Weatherkind asks iOS for When In Use location access. It does not request Always access or monitor your location continuously.
Weather forecasts are requested from Apple Weather using WeatherKit. Apple receives the location needed to service the forecast request. Apple states that WeatherKit location information is not associated with personally identifiable information and is not tracked between requests.
If you search for a town or postcode, the words you type are sent to Apple Maps through MapKit so that Apple can return matching places. Poyzer Tech Limited does not receive or retain the search text or results.

Notifications
Morning briefings and activity reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Weatherkind does not operate a push-notification server or receive notification interaction data.
Data collection and sharing
Because Weatherkind's personalisation stays on your device and Apple services handle weather and place requests, Poyzer Tech Limited does not collect personal data from the app and does not sell or share app data with advertisers or data brokers.

We may update this policy when Weatherkind's features or data handling change. The effective date above will identify the current version. Questions can be sent to support@poyzer.xyz.
